Private credit

Meridian Private Credit

Meridian Private Credit is a proposed tokenized private-credit platform designed to give eligible investors structured exposure to selected secured loans, receivables or asset-backed lending opportunities. Fundshing developed the proposed digital-instrument workflow for investor permissions, loan-pool administration and lifecycle records, subject to final legal, regulatory, credit and transaction approvals.

What the team needs to solve

Meridian Private Credit required a disciplined framework to raise and administer capital against private-credit opportunities while preserving clear separation among originator, borrower, issuer, collateral, investor rights and servicing responsibilities. The model needed to support controlled participation, loan-level transparency and a clear waterfall for collections, expenses, reserves and investor payments.

Solution

How the workflow is structured

Fundshing designed a proposed compartmentalised private-credit tokenization model. A dedicated issuer or financing SPV would originate, acquire or participate in approved loan assets, while eligible investors would receive defined interests in the issuing structure. Each token series can be associated with a specific loan, borrower group or approved pool, allowing the economics, risk profile, security package and repayment terms to be recorded separately. Tokens represent the contractual rights established in the final offering and transaction documents, not direct ownership of a borrower’s assets or collateral.
