Earth Shepards

Earth Shepherds was conceived with Grower’s Secret Inc. as a climate-impact technology ecosystem designed to connect verified climate-positive product activity with transparent digital records. Fundshing developed a custom Substrate-based blockchain, ecosystem strategy and technology framework, and introduced legal partners to assess a proposed Seychelles holding-company and BVI operating-company structure. The model contemplated issuing a digital climate-impact record when a qualifying product purchase is supported by independently verified methodology and evidence.

Business need

What the team needs to solve

Grower’s Secret Inc. sought an outstanding climate-focused solution that could connect purchases of climate-positive products with a credible, traceable record of environmental impact. The project required bespoke infrastructure, a clear impact-accounting model, ecosystem strategy and a legal structure capable of supporting the intended technology and token lifecycle.

Solution

How the workflow is structured

Fundshing developed the Earth Shepherds concept and custom blockchain infrastructure using Substrate, with an architecture designed for Polkadot ecosystem compatibility. The platform concept was intended to record qualifying product activity and mint a digital impact record only when the relevant climate methodology, verification process and evidence requirements are satisfied. Fundshing also supported ecosystem development and introduced legal partners to assess the proposed Seychelles holding company and BVI operating company. Any claim of Polkadot shared security depends on the final network architecture and connection model; a Substrate-based chain does not automatically inherit Polkadot security.

Solution benefits

What the operating model enables

  • Custom blockchain infrastructure designed for climate-impact records
  • A model linking qualifying product activity to verified environmental evidence
  • Controlled digital records for impact methodology, evidence and lifecycle status
  • Architecture designed for potential Polkadot ecosystem compatibility
  • Ecosystem development around climate-positive products and impact verification
  • Access to legal partners for the proposed cross-border corporate structure
  • Clear separation between technology development, impact verification and regulated activities

Implementation guide

A practical sequence for this use case.

  1. 01Define the climate-impact methodology, qualifying products and required evidence standards
  2. 02Establish the independent verification and audit process for each qualifying impact event
  3. 03Develop the Substrate-based blockchain and record model for climate-impact data
  4. 04Design the token or digital-record lifecycle, including issuance criteria, status controls and retirement logic
  5. 05Assess the proposed Seychelles holding company and BVI operating company with appointed legal and tax advisers
  6. 06Determine whether any token, carbon-credit, environmental-claim, consumer-protection or financial-services requirements apply
  7. 07Configure Polkadot connectivity or shared-security features only where technically implemented and legally appropriate
  8. 08Enable issuance only after the required methodology, evidence, governance, legal and operational controls are in place
  9. 09Maintain the technology infrastructure while the issuer and appointed independent providers remain responsible for verification, legal, compliance and any regulated activities
