Energy infrastructure

Atlas Renewables

Atlas Renewables is a tokenized energy-infrastructure model designed to connect eligible investors with defined economic interests in a portfolio of renewable-energy projects. Fundshing developed the proposed tokenization framework and digital workflow for project-level capital formation, investor administration and lifecycle reporting, subject to final legal, regulatory, tax and transaction approvals.

Business need

What the team needs to solve

Atlas Renewables required a scalable capital-formation model for renewable-energy infrastructure that could distinguish individual project economics while maintaining a clear investor-rights framework, controlled participation, transparent reporting and a disciplined approach to project cash flows.

Solution

How the workflow is structured

Fundshing designed a proposed portfolio-and-project tokenization model. A dedicated holding entity would own or finance approved project SPVs, while the issuing entity would offer defined participation interests to eligible investors. Each token series may be linked to a specified project or approved pool for accounting and economic-allocation purposes; it does not itself provide direct ownership of solar panels, turbines, land or grid assets. The final rights, transfer limits, disclosures and distribution mechanics must be established by legal counsel and reflected in the governing documents.

Solution benefits

What the operating model enables

  • Project-specific investor participation framework
  • Clearer cash-flow, reserve and distribution logic
  • Structured reporting across the infrastructure lifecycle
  • Configurable investor eligibility and transfer restrictions
  • Digital recordkeeping for issuance, ownership and corporate actions
  • Flexible model for multi-project renewable portfolios
  • Clear allocation of responsibilities among issuer, counsel, asset operator, regulated providers and technology provider

Implementation guide

A practical sequence for this use case.

  1. 01Define the target assets, project stage and revenue sources
  2. 02Establish the project-SPV and issuer ownership structure with counsel
  3. 03Determine the instrument type, investor rights and applicable offering framework
  4. 04Document the project-series methodology and cash-flow waterfall
  5. 05Appoint required legal, compliance, custody, administration and distribution providers
  6. 06Configure investor permissions, issuance rules and lifecycle reporting workflows
  7. 07Connect approved project data sources and reporting controls
  8. 08Enable issuance only after the legal, commercial and operational requirements are approved
